FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Neurodiverse, female-founded company in Boston continues to thrive

Boston, MA (September 16, 2019) - Iterators LLC, a women-owned, Boston-based software testing company dedicated to employing neuroinclusive and routinely undervalued talent, today announced it is working with Boston-based advertising agency Connelly Partners. The forward-thinking ad agency was eager to connect with Iterators after taking note of The Boston Globe article that shed light on the avant-garde software testers, describing the innovative work accomplished by the female-led company when it comes to inclusive hiring practices.

The new relationship with Connelly Partners is one of many considerable advancements made by Iterators in the past year. The ad agency describes themselves as “defiantly human,” and first and foremost celebrating “the unique abilities of humans and those things only humans can do and can feel.” By partnering to create better and more accessible websites and mobile apps at the cornerstone of their combined values and closely aligned principles, Iterators and Connelly Partners are an ideal match.

“By looking past "traditional" employees and focusing on neurodiverse candidates that display success in identifying patterns and sequencing, we assembled a team of highly qualified talent that is 30 percent more productive than “neurotypical” software testers,” said Jill Willcox, Co-Founder and Managing Member of Iterators. “We are thrilled to work with Connelly Partners and appreciate their desire to support companies that work towards eliminating appearance bias in the hiring process.”

In an initial engagement, Connelly Partners contracted Iterators LLC to complete both functional testing and regression testing of their website, which was in the process of being redesigned. Iterators carried this out as well as Section 508 Accessibility testing, a law under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The law requires that websites update to comply with accessibility standards, allowing easy access for people with disabilities, including those using assistive technologies like screen readers, screen magnifiers and switch controls.

Subsequent to that successful collaboration, Connelly Partners has tapped Iterators LLC to support QA efforts on many of the agency’s clients. Iterators has provided functional testing and Section 508 Accessibility testing on client sites and applications. Connelly Partners has been extremely supportive and receptive to working with their neuroinclusive workforce, a defiantly human aspect of Iterators.

“At Connelly Partners, our Defiantly Human approach informs everything from how we approach company culture to client work to agency innovations,” said Jessica Cheng Schrepel, Director of Project Management at Connelly Partners. “Iterators first caught our attention for its human-forward ethos, which aligns with our own. After a vetting process and trial project, Iterators has become a trusted partner for our digital work.”
