Female-founded Boston company dedicated to highlighting value of diversity and inclusion

Iterators LLC, a Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) software testing company dedicated to employing neurodiverse and routinely undervalued talent, today announced it is now contracted to work with Boston College. The engagement includes the completion of an exploratory testing project, ongoing manual testing of test plans as well as collaboration on the design and development of an automated testing framework.

Boston College is very excited to partner with Iterators, LLC as we enter an important phase of our project. Following the successful completion of a Proof of Concept engagement, we are looking forward to collaborating with the team at Iterators on functional and regression testing. Additionally, we are working together on improving our internal testing processes and also looking at how automation of manual efforts can be significantly improved. Their team communicates very well with our team, and their ability to identify software bugs is outstanding.

Neurodiverse groups, which include individuals with ADHD, dyslexia, on the autism spectrum, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), are traditionally underrepresented in the workforce. By looking past "traditional" employees and focusing on neurodiverse candidates that display success in identifying patterns and sequencing, Iterators addresses all appearance bias, and as a result, assembled a team of highly qualified talent that is 30 percent more productive than “neurotypical” software testers. By hiring employees undervalued by other companies, yet who are highly intelligent with very specific skills, Iterators maintains a competitive advantage and provides its clients higher-quality results than traditional software-testing firms.
